Carl Bianco

I originally studied and trained as an archaeologist, and worked for a number of years in the field of church archaeology and building conservation.

In the mid '90s I made a career shift to the film industry, working as a visual effects artist on a wide range of movies over the years, including the Harry Potter series, Paddington, Warhorse, and a number of Marvel films.

 

I live in South Oxfordshire, where the beauty of the local countryside provides plenty of artistic inspiration.  I also have a deep love for the chalk hills of the South Downs, and for the wilder landscapes of Snowdonia, Mid Wales, Dartmoor and The Lake District.

 

In addition to art, I enjoy walking, photography, music and cinema.
